This Bathroom Fitting in Northampton was completed in Brixworth. Our previous client contacted us and told us he wanted an en-suite renovated that he felt didn’t look good and compact enough. The task wasn’t as simple as it looked, making an ensuite bathroom requires a lot of planning and designing, the bathroom was small, yet it also needed plumbing overhauls. We sat with the client and shared our ideas with him, which he loved but he said the bathroom looked empty and too plain, it felt that it was missing something or was incomplete, to which he further stated that he doesn’t like the old flooring as well as the empty walls as can be seen in the before renovation picture below.

We then shared with him, our ideas and vision to which he agreed and he loved them, but he specially requested for the Harmonia Kings Star Nero tiles for the flooring, for which we had to rethink and rework on our plans for the wall colours and how to build a contrast in the bathroom design.

When we first assessed the bathroom, it was evident that several improvements were needed to transform it into a functional and visually appealing space. The client expressed dissatisfaction with the previous furniture and design for him it was taking a lot of space and felt that the design was quite old and it also included the space-consuming cabinets, plain flooring was also a big problem as it made the bathroom look pretty average and not stand out, lack of contrast in the white walls and furniture was something that was quite notable, without colours the bathroom looked dull, and inconveniently placed switches that disrupted the overall aesthetics of the bathroom.

Additionally, the absence of wall tiles made the bathroom appear quite small and basic, and the vanity and cabinets occupied more space than necessary. Furthermore, the old floor tiles were broken, had gaps in between them and their quality wasn’t of the best either, and the shower room had a significant flaw – the shower faced the wrong direction, causing water to spill onto the walls, potentially damaging them, this could cause the walls big damage, not only that but the shower room also lacked lights, it had only one shower, which caused a lot of trouble.

Flooring

The floor tiles are the Harmonia Kings Star Nero, a stunning choice for the interior space.
