This Bathroom Renovation was completed in Northampton, Northamptonshire. This bathroom in Northampton presented a unique challenge as the available space was limited. Our client’s desire was to create a more spacious and inviting bathroom, prompting us to explore innovative solutions. After careful consideration, we proposed the idea of extending the bathroom by utilising the area previously occupied by a cupboard. This concept involved removing the cupboard and seamlessly integrating it into the bathroom extension. We presented our idea to the client, who enthusiastically approved the plan, providing us with the green signal to proceed with the project.

The bathroom presented some challenges due to its small size and outdated features. It lacked the necessary space and a modern, inviting atmosphere. The white tiles were worn out and unappealing, while the glass separator for the shower area didn’t contribute to a contemporary look. The faded teal-coloured walls further added to the outdated feel. A complete bathroom revamp was necessary, but the major obstacle was the limited space available to achieve the client’s dream bathroom.

To transform the bathroom into a modern and spacious sanctuary, several steps were taken. Firstly, we carefully removed the walls, ensuring that the structural integrity of the house remained intact throughout the process. This required considerable effort and attention to detail to avoid any damage to the rest of the property.

Once the walls were down, we also took the opportunity to remove a large cupboard that occupied valuable space. By doing so, we created additional room, which would allow for a more open and breathable bathroom environment.

Next, we focused on upgrading the plumbing, drainage and all electrics, recognising their importance in achieving a functional and efficient bathroom. This step ensured that the bathroom would not only look appealing but also function properly for everyday use.

With these essential improvements completed, we could proceed to transform the aesthetics of the bathroom. The old white tiles were replaced with stylish and contemporary options, enhancing the overall look and feel of the space. Instead of the outdated glass separator, a sleek and modern shower enclosure was installed, adding a touch of elegance.

To bring a fresh and vibrant ambiance to the bathroom, the faded teal-colored walls were replaced with a more contemporary color scheme. The new wall colors were carefully chosen to complement the revamped tiles and fixtures, creating a cohesive and visually appealing design.

Despite the initial challenges posed by the small size of the bathroom, the renovation efforts ultimately succeeded in transforming it into a modern and inviting space. The revamp not only addressed the functional aspects but also breathed new life into the aesthetics, resulting in a bathroom that is both practical and visually appealing.

Offset Quadrant Shower Enclosure

We installed a large corner bathtub as a stunning centrepiece. This addition not only enhances the overall aesthetic appeal but also provides a serene and indulgent bathing experience. The corner placement of the bathtub optimises space utilisation, making it a practical choice for bathrooms of varying sizes. The large size of the bathtub allows for maximum comfort and relaxation. It provides ample space for stretching out and immersing oneself in warm, soothing water. The generous dimensions of the bathtub accommodate individuals of different heights and body types, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable bathing experience for everyone.

One of the main reason the corner bathtub was preferred over a traditional rectangular bathtub is because it takes lesser space and keeps the place more spacious, biggest plus point is that it also adds a visual appeal to the bathroom.

Offset Quadrant Shower Enclosure

The offset quadrant design of the shower enclosure offers a sleek and modern look while optimising space utilisation. Its curved shape creates a visually appealing focal point in the bathroom, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication. The enclosure’s offset configuration allows for ample showering space while ensuring efficient use of the available area.

The combination of the rainfall showerhead and hand shower offers the best of both worlds, catering to different preferences and needs, the centerpiece of the shower enclosure is the rainfall showerhead. Positioned directly above, it mimics the soothing sensation of standing under a gentle rain shower, complementing the rainfall showerhead is the addition of a hand shower. This handheld option offers versatility and convenience, allowing for targeted rinsing and easy accessibility.

Wall Panels

We installed the Concrete Grey wall panels. It is a highly sought-after tongue & groove wall panel that has become their most popular product. It boasts a high gloss surface that beautifully enhances the marble/rock effect of its design. This particular bathroom wall panel is an ideal choice for shower enclosures, full-scale bathrooms, wet rooms, and en-suites.

The wall panels presents a modern alternative to traditional options such as tiles, wallpaper, and paint. These are also designed to be 100% waterproof, making them suitable for installation in areas like shower enclosures, full bathrooms, en-suites, kitchens, and even offices. One of the key advantages of these wall panels is their ability to be directly installed over existing tiles, which not only saves time but also reduces costs. Vinyl flooring

The wooden vinyl flooring not only adds a touch of luxury but also exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. Its natural wood texture and colour create a cosy and sophisticated ambiance, instantly elevating the space, creating a cohesive and visually pleasing look.

Aside from its visual appeal, the wooden vinyl flooring is incredibly easy to clean and maintain. Its smooth surface makes it resistant to stains and spills, ensuring that the bathroom remains pristine with minimal effort. This feature is especially beneficial in a high-moisture environment like a bathroom, where durability and cleanliness are key.

Towel Radiator

We installed a modern and stylish towel radiator which has multiple purpose. The primary function of a towel radiator is to heat towels, ensuring they are warm and cosy when you step out of the shower or bath yet towel radiators are not limited to drying towels; they can also serve as an additional source of warmth for the bathroom. The radiant heat they emit helps to keep the bathroom cosy, especially during colder months.

New Spotlights

To ensure optimal lighting in the revamped bathroom, we strategically installed new spotlights on the ceiling. These spotlights not only provide brighter and more vibrant illumination but also enhance the overall atmosphere of the space, making it feel more lively and inviting.

By carefully selecting the right angle and positioning of the spotlights, we ensure that light is emitted precisely where it is needed most. This thoughtful placement eliminates any dark corners or shadows, creating a well-lit environment that enhances visibility and promotes a better viewing experience.

Bathroom Shelves

In order to optimise storage and organisation in the bathroom, we installed the Safeplus Wall Mounted Bathroom Shelf with Towel Bars. This versatile and practical shelf offers a rustproof chrome finish, ensuring its durability and longevity in a humid bathroom environment. These provide ample space for storing various bathroom essentials. The storage shelf component allows for neatly arranging items such as toiletries, towels, and other daily necessities, keeping them within easy reach and reducing countertop clutter.

The inclusion of towel bars on the shelf adds an additional layer of functionality.
