This Beautiful Kitchen Installation was completed in Kettering, Northamptonshire. A well-crafted kitchen is an essential component of any home, adding to its overall comfort and appeal. When our client approached us about her dissatisfaction with her previous kitchen, she felt that her kitchen was old as well as quite unusable, the old shelves were getting worn off as was the flooring, she wanted something that will not only look good but will be functional, we were ready with a plan that she loved. We presented her with a range of design options, and after careful consideration, she selected one that perfectly suited her needs. We assured her that she could sit back, relax and let us handle the rest.

Before Kitchen Renovation Started

Upon entering the kitchen, it was apparent that the space had not undergone any significant renovation in quite some time. The once-bright brown wooden cabinets were now dull and scratched, with visible signs of wear and tear. The old tiling, with its faded and discolored grout, only added to the overall lackluster appearance of the room. The paint on the walls was chipped in several places, revealing layers of the previous colors beneath.

The lighting fixtures, which seemed to have been around since the early ’90s, were yellowed and outdated, emitting a dim and uninviting light. The old electric cooker, with its worn-out burners and scratched-up control panel, looked as if it had been used to cook countless meals over the years. The sink, too, was of a very old style, with rust and stains evident around the drain and tap.

Old switches were scattered throughout the room, some of them barely functioning. Adding to the clutter, a washing machine had been placed in the kitchen, taking up valuable space and disrupting the flow of the room.

Even the flooring, which appeared to be made of wood, was of an outdated style, with the once-gleaming surface now faded and scratched. The overall effect of all these outdated features was a kitchen that felt stale and uninviting, in dire need of a modern and refreshing update.

After Kitchen Renovation Finished

For the countertop we went with The Dekton® Aura 15 countertop it has a thickness of 15mm, making it a sturdy and reliable option for the kitchen. The white marble with striking veins makes it absolutely beautiful and complements the furniture as well as the overall design of the kitchen, not only that, it is strong and something that will last longer than most of the stones, it is also easier to clean and will not lose its shine easily.

Kitchen Tiles

The tiling over the countertop is of the same stone Dekton® Aura 15, it is a beautiful and durable material that is perfect for the kitchen. It is part of the Natural Collection, which pays homage to the timeless beauty of natural stones like Calacatta and Carrara marbles.

This beautiful stone features a white background with delicate, yet striking veins that give it an elegant and sophisticated look. These veins resemble the intricate lines found in natural stones, providing a stunning and authentic finish.

Dekton® is known for its impressive durability and resistance to scratches, stains, and heat. This makes it a popular choice for high-traffic areas like kitchens, where it will withstand daily use and maintain its beauty for years to come.

Floor tiles

For the kitchen flooring, we went with the Marazzi porcelain stoneware tiles in the Evolution marble series, they are a stunning addition to the kitchen. These tiles feature a beautiful Tozzetto Calacatta colour and style.

The tiles are crafted from high-quality porcelain stoneware, ensuring durability and resistance to wear and tear.
Not only will they try to spruce up the kitchen, the Marazzi Evolution marble tiles are also an excellent option with the furniture and marble theme, The tiles are also easy to clean and maintain, making them a practical and stylish choice for any design project.

New cooker

The decision to replace the old electric cooker with a gas cooker was made with careful consideration of its benefits. Not only does a gas cooker help in saving a significant amount of money on electricity bills, but it also provides a better output capacity, making it a great investment for the client. We made sure to select the best gas cooker available in the market, which is not only reliable but also easy to maintain. The gas stove has been designed to provide the perfect pressure required for cooking and has ample capacity to hold multiple pots at once. This upgrade will not only make cooking a lot more efficient but will also enhance the overall functionality of the kitchen.

New switches

New switches have been installed in the place of the old and worn-out switches, with new wiring, the old wiring was worn out and dangerous, old wires often produce more bills of electricity, to reduce the billing and make it safe we have installed new wiring as well as new switches making it easier for the client to use appliances and other electronic items in their kitchen with ease.

Spotlights

The previous lighting in the kitchen was inadequate, outdated, and caused inconvenience while working in the kitchen. Therefore, we decided to install new LED spotlights to brighten up the space, and improve its overall safety and functionality. These state-of-the-art LED lights not only last longer but also consume less energy, resulting in significant cost savings for the client in the long run. With their modern design, these lights enhance the aesthetic appeal of the kitchen and make it a more pleasant and inviting space to work in.

Paint

The colour of the paint was quite a time taking task for us and the client both, we had quite a lot of options to choose, we felt that nothing could compliment the furniture and tiling more than white colour, not only did we painted the kitchen with the finest white paints out there, but we also made sure that the walls were filled with the best quality of material available, to make them strong and durable.

Kitchen Tap

The Kitchen Tap we installed is a stylish and durable addition to any kitchen. Made of premium solid brass, this kitchen tap is built to last, with a dirt-resistant and anti-corrosion finish that ensures a long service life. The fine workmanship that goes into the manufacturing process ensures that every detail is carefully attended to, resulting in a product that is both glossy and exquisite.

One of the standout features of this kitchen tap is its ceramic disc box, which ensures smooth operation and prevents dripping. The drip-free ceramic tray box has been tested to open and close 500,000 times, ensuring that it will last for many years without any issues.

Conclusion

In this case, we knew that simply updating the kitchen would not be sufficient. We had to take a more comprehensive approach and start from scratch. This meant removing everything in the kitchen, from the tiles to the flooring, from the cabinets to the cooker. Even the electrical wiring required an overhaul to ensure that it met modern safety standards.

The process of removing everything was daunting, but it was also a necessary step to achieve the desired result. With each piece that was taken out, we could see the potential for a fresh and modern kitchen that would be both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

In the end, the effort and planning required to renovate the kitchen were well worth it. The space was transformed into a beautiful and practical area that we could be proud of, and it became a focal point of the home.
